Help digital pioneers Codasign create an amazing artwork in the Phoenix cafebar.

In this workshop you’ll learn about basic electronics and programming and use your new knowledge and skills to build an artwork that blends sounds and textiles with some of the latest creative technologies.

You’ll also learn about Leicester’s rich history of textiles and how it continues to shape the city today. Codasign run workshops and events in the creative use of technology. They combine open source tools with tactile objects – from felt to fruit – to explore and teach technology.

On the following days of the festival the artwork will continue to grow as visitors to Phoenix help build new parts.

There will be a break for lunch at 1pm, and a special kids menu available in our café.

Tickets are £5 per child and accompanying adults go free.

This event is suitable for children aged 11 and over.
