Join tutor Alan Seaman for a one-day deep dive into the relationship between jazz and film, from the first talkie – featuring Al Jolson – through to movies about often tortured artistes, and not forgetting those incredibly cool soundtracks. Part 2 –  Playing for Real

Part 3 – Cool Soundtracks

Part 4 – New York, Paris, London

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Alan Seaman is an experienced freelance film teacher who works for a wide variety of venues, particularly Phoenix, Derby’s Quad, and Broadway in Nottingham. His main areas of interest are British, Scandinavian and European cinema. Alan is also a stand-up comedian and comedy club compere, and is edging slowly and painfully towards completion of his first crime novel.
