About the Course
So you’ve studied and practiced and honed your craft as an actor - perhaps you’ve recently finished a drama course or degree - and you’re ready to take that next step into the world of the working actor. But what is the next step? And the step after that? “Actor, Agent, Audition” is your chance to find out. Led by a working actor and featuring guest speakers from the industry, including agents and casting directors, this four-week course will help to prepare you for the realities of an actor’s working life.
About the Tutor
Kenton Hall is an award-winning Canadian actor, writer, director and musician, with numerous short and feature film credits to his name - both behind and in front of the camera. Recent credits include the acclaimed Les Miserables, Father to Fall (which he also wrote), Cold Turkey, The Edge of the Lawn and The Amityville Asylum.
Week 1 - You got the look – preparing a professional acting CV/profile.
Week 2 - Call my people - finding and working with The right agent.
Week 3 - Don’t call us – securing, preparing for and attending auditions.
Week 4 - Lights, Camera, Action – working on set: the do’s and don’ts.
