About the Course
From the earliest days of artistic expression, censorship has been a contentious issue, with lines being drawn and sides being taken across the centuries. And perhaps no other medium has excited the passions of both sides quite like cinema. This entertaining and enlightening nine-week course examines this complex subject from all points of view - helping you to understand not only how classification and censorship work, but often why.
