On Friday 31st October, Phoenix cinema is challenging Leicester’s students to survive its all-night Halloween horror marathon ‘Frightarama’.
Now in its 4th year, Frightarama runs from 10pm until 8am the next morning and features five fiendish films – Richard Donner’s infamous masterpiece The Omen (1976), [Rec] (2007), Suspiria (1977), Wolfcop (2014) and Halloween (1978)– guaranteed to make Phoenix the scariest place to be this Halloween!
With a hair-raising combination of classic chills and modern thrills, Frightarama is a once-a-yearopportunity to experience five iconic horror films back-to-back on the big screen with fellow horror-fanatics
Tickets are £25 for all five films including a recovery breakfast butty the morning after. Bottomless coffee will be available on the night for just £2. Drinks and snacks purchased at the bar can also be taken into the cinema.
“Bring your blankets, sleeping bags, crucifixes, garlic, silver bullets, pyjamas… whatever will help you survive til dawn,” said Jake Harvey, Film Programmer at Phoenix.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.phoenix.org.uk or via the box office on 0116 242 2800
