In advance of Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film Inherent Vice, on national release from 30 January, Phoenix is screening a season of this exciting and original filmmaker’s work.
Throughout January, fans can enjoy the genius of Anderson’s back catalogue – including Boogie Nights, Magnolia and There Will Be Blood – screened as he intended… in glorious 35mm, with the superb depth and aesthetic quality that brings.
Nominated for five Oscars – three for There Will Be Blood – and winner of countless other awards, Anderson is renowned for his large ensemble casts, featuring the likes of John C Reilly, Julianne Moore, Joaquin Phoenix and the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman.
