In this FREE family workshop, help artists Genetic Moo create a collaborative digital artwork celebrating the microscopic Carbon Cycling Coccolithophores.
You can work with a speedy Coccolith making app or settle down to a bit of creative coding in a programming language called P5js. The artists will also introduce you to the artworks in the Gallery space and show you how to use the ‘bot’ language to play the ecological art game Biocybernetic Universal System Tendency (B.U.S.T.).
This workshop will take place in our gallery as part of the Daisyworld Exhibition.
This is a drop-in workshop – booking isn’t required but there may be a wait during busy times. Suitable for ages 5+.
The workshop is part of Cultural Quarter Earlies – free activities taking place across the Cultural Quarter on the second Saturday of every month.
