Discover how to get creative with amazing new digital technologies in these introductory workshops inspired by stories on Leicester Libraries’ Our Best Book List 2018.

In this Digital Super Powers workshop you’ll code a digital superhero and learn how to activate their powers by making interactive drawings, paintings or cardboard sculptures of your own super-powered characters.

You’ll be using Scratch (a simple computer programming language) to create the virtual hero and add their powers, alongside the Makey Makey – a device that lets you turn everyday objects into amazing interactive computer controllers.

Inspired by Dog Man by Dav Pilkey.
