Circuit Breaker Group Screening
Circuit Breaker features a series of short films by artists who use new technologies in their work. Early pioneer Stan Van Der Beek used computers to create abstract and aesthetic experiences on screen, while in the 1990s Lyn Hershman Leeson looked at the wider social and philosophical implications of technology. Recent works by Cecile B. Evans, Jon Rafman and Rosa Aielo, and Jacolby Satterwhite explore similar themes in our current, technologically saturated, world.
