In this free family workshop you can make simple digital animations, using Scratch to animate paper zoetrope drawings.
In this month’s family workshop we’ll be making simple digital animations. We’ll start by drawing paper zoetrope animations, which we’ll then scan and turn into digital animations with Scratch, a free, online, block-based code editor that’s commonly used in schools.
Free, drop-in session – no booking required, but there may be a short wait at busy times. Please be aware that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Suitable for ages 5+
The workshop is part of Cultural Quarter Earlies – free activities taking place across the Cultural Quarter on the second Saturday of every month.
