Following on from our screenings of Dog Day Afternoon in late August, this September we screen the other films in John Cazale’s (sadly) limited but exceptional filmography. A celebrated theatre star, Cazale became one of Hollywood’s go-to character actors in the early ‘70s before his untimely death in 1978 – appearing in five films over seven years, all of which were nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.
