October 2024 marks the centenary of the publication of the Surrealist Manifesto in Paris, which launched a movement that continues to shape visual culture worldwide.

Join us in September for screenings of surrealist cinema, and then in October for our celebration event, Surrealism Soiree.

Join us for an evening to mark the centenary of the Surrealist Manifesto publication. Try your hand at surrealist writing techniques while sampling cocktails and mocktails, before a lecture from Dr Madeleine Chalmers, Lecturer in French Studies at the University of Leicester.
