Synopsis

Winner of the Grand Jury prize at Cannes last year, 120 Beats Per Minute, Robin Camillo’s drama stormed the box office in France. Paris in the early ‘90s, and the city is weighed down by the mass outbreak of HIV and AIDS. Amidst the chaos and increasing levels of bureaucratic control, a group of young activists known as ACT UP lead a radical campaign to increase awareness and understanding of the condition.

In the midst of this, newcomer Nathan falls in love with Sean – the group’s firebrand leader.
