Daphne 15

Fri 20 – Mon 23 Oct

Synopsis

A hit on the festival circuit, Pete Mackie Burns’ (director of the multi award-winning short film Milk) feature debut is set in London and follows Daphne, a 31 year-old chef.

Frustrated with life and filling her time with drink and drug-fuelled one-night stands, after she witnesses a violent robbery Daphne is forced to confront the person she’s become.

Described by Indiewire as “Like a romantic comedy with all the bullsh*t taken out”, Emily Beecham delivers a stunning lead performance as the occasionally unlikeable but compellingly watchable Daphne.

Dir: Peter Mackie Burns

Cast: Emily Beecham, Geraldine James
