Loving Vincent 12A

Sun 3 – Thu 7 Dec

Synopsis

A labour of love - or madness - Loving Vincent is the first fully painted film, with every one of the 65,000 frames painstakingly created by a team of 125 artists for over a decade.

Set soon after Vincent Van Gogh’s death, the film follows Armand Roulin (one of Vincent’s subjects, clad in his recognisable vibrant yellow blazer) as he tries to deliver a letter to Vincent’s brother but ends up investigating the events surrounding Vincent’s apparent suicide.
