The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society 12A

Mon 11 – Thu 14 Jun

Top prizes for the longest film title in film history aside, this charming British movie managed to put a smile on audience’s faces in May, so we thought we’d bring it back for another short run.

In the aftermath of WWII a young writer strikes up correspondence with members of the aforementioned society and journeys to Guernsey, where she decides to write a book about the lives of its inhabitants during the conflict. However, she finds more than a story waiting for her and life for the young writer will never be the same again.

Dir: Mike Newell
