Synopsis

In partnership with the ICA’s Artists’ Film Club and as part of DMU Pride we present this seminal documentary on Black gay life by Emmy Award-winning director Marlon T Riggs.

Tongues Untied uses poetry, personal testimony, rap and performance to describe the homophobia and racism that confront Black gay men.
