Phoenix Interact Labs is a space run in partnership with Interact Digital Arts that encourages people to be creative with digital technology. Equipped with computers and micro-controllers, VR kit and 3D printers, Interact Labs provides a space at Phoenix dedicated to learning, experimentation, creative collaboration and making new things.
We are currently running a membership scheme which gives users the chance to get access to the space and its facilities on a hot-desking basis. Members also benefit from a programme of community support, including talks and group crits.
Full membership is £25 a month, but we can also grant access on an individual basis for special projects.
We currently have a small number of membership places available. If you’re interested in joining please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV and a short statement on how you’d like to use the space. Please also feel free to get in touch with any questions or to arrange a visit to the space.
Our current members are artists Ben Fredericks and Alice Tuppen Corps, and writer Divya Ghelani. Virtual reality filmmaker Alex Ruhl is an associate member, working with Phoenix on a VR film programme.
Interact Labs is also home to our Code Club, a regular meeting for 9-11 years interested in creative coding.
