Perhaps no other author is more synonymous with their genre than Agatha Christie. She even managed to cram a real-life mystery into the mix!
With Kenneth Branagh's Death on the Nile due for release in October, tutor Kenton Hall leads this timely visual tour through Christie’s life on screen, exploring the various adaptations of her novels, depictions of her life and times, and the influence she has had on cinema.
Using Zoom, the course will offer an engaging mix of film clips and tutor-led group discussion.

About the Tutor
Kenton Hall is an award-winning Canadian writer, director, musician and teacher, with numerous short and feature film credits to his name – both behind and in front of the camera. Kenton also teaches a BTEC in Creative Media Production through Leicester College and The Art of Screenwriting here at Phoenix. He has played a variety of roles on stage and screen, from Les Miserables and Muppets Most Wanted, to 4th Floor of Singapore and Father to Fall. He wrote, directed and co-starred in the feature film A Dozen Summers and his first book, Bisection – a memoir of living and parenting with bipolar disorder – was released in 2019.
