A film can change a heart. A heart can change the world.

Not always sweet, seldom easy, but always necessary, caring for each other is more important than ever, and the concept of caring continues to be an important theme in films.

This 4-week online course – led by tutor Kenton Hall – will celebrate the best of the human condition, sharing and enabling discussion of films that deal with the subjects of compassion and empathy, and will explore how cinema has been a force for good in the world.

Using Zoom, the course will offer film clips and tutor-led group discussion – the same Phoenix content, but in the comfort and security of home.

Places can be booked online only. Access details will be sent to participants by email shortly before the first session.
