Ice Age - Great Big Green Month
Fri 20 May, 6pm | SOLD OUT
★★★★ – Empire
An unlikely trio - Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth and Diego the saber-toothed tiger - come together when a human baby is left behind during the great migration on the brink of an Ice Age.
The prehistoric creatures end up on an entertaining quest to return the baby to his family, and along the way form an unexpected bond that is tested as the team come under attack.
Alongside our heroes story, we see Scrat (a primitive cross between a squirrel and a rat) chase his precious acorn as he tries to store it away for the winter - a character that has become beloved and the true star of the show!
A pioneering film for CGI animation, Ice Age opened up conversations about climate change for a generation in an amusing, accessible frame.
There will be a short intro from the Sustainable Schools Leicester team prior to this screening.
