"★★★★★ – Chloé Zhao’s Best Picture winner is a film of fragile, humanist beauty" – Independent

"★★★★★ – hauntingly beautiful" – Telegraph

Chloé Zhao (director of 2017’s The Rider) returns with this perfectly crafted low-key masterpiece which won Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actress at this year’s Oscars.

Widowed and having lost everything, Fern (Frances McDormand) decides to buy a van and travel across the country searching for work.

As Fern learns the ways of life on the road and befriends fellow itinerant workers (many played by real-life nomads), an illuminating picture of modern America emerges; an elegiac, deeply felt tale of those living in the margins of society.

Dir: Chloé Zhao

Cast: Frances McDormand, David Strathairn
