A girl, Alexia, is injured in a car accident as her father explodes at her for humming too loudly. To save her life, surgeons insert a titanium plate into her head, which appears to give her a metal fetish. As a grown woman, Alexia (Agathe Rousselle, in her first film role) is an exotic dancer at car shows, and is sexually aroused by the cars themselves. But she's also she's a serial killer.


Loaded with graphic horrors,Titane was the surprise winner of the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2021 – only the second film directed by a woman to win this prestigious award.
