Hold Tight Raver + Q&A 18

Following a brilliant launch in June, we present another screening of Hold Tight Raver – a new locally-made documentary exploring the rave scene in Leicester and the Midlands between 1988 and 1994, with a backdrop of house, jungle techno, breakbeat hardcore, and drum and bass.

The film features interviews on the scene’s music, dancing, networks, artwork, and spaces with DJs and punters reflecting on how their lives have revolved around rave, creating profound experiences that still echo in their lives.

This screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and film participants.
