Rockers (1978) + King Flame Sound System 15

The joyous Jamaican roots reggae classic gets a rare and spectacular big screen outing. Rockers boasts one of the greatest soundtracks of all-time, including hits from Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer and Lee "Scratch" Perry, and stars reggae legends: Gregory Isaacs, Jacob Miller and Burning Spear.

Kingston drummer Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace speeds across the island on his beloved red motorcycle delivering records to sound systems and nightclubs, but when the bike is stolen by a criminal gang he rallies his friends together to take on the crooks and exact some Robin Hood-style justice. A gloriously fun celebration of the iconic Kingston sound.

The screening will be followed by a set from Leicester’s own King Flame Sound System playing the very best in reggae, ska, dub and dancehall!
