With a range of affordable, flexible, accessible spaces in the heart of Leicester’s Cultural Quarter, Phoenix is the ideal venue for your next meeting or event.

Phoenix is a dynamic city centre venue with space for creativity, and our fully-equipped rooms are ideal for meetings, workshops and training, for 2 to 60 people.

Need something larger? Our cinema screens are a comfortable setting with excellent sound and image quality.

We also offer a full in-house catering service to suit all tastes and budgets, from simple teas and coffees to delicious buffets.

Room hire starts at £15 per hour + VAT, with half day and full day rates available.

Meeting Rooms Hire

Meeting Room 1

A bright and airy room that opens onto an internal courtyard. Excellent access, ideal for meetings, training and presentations. Can be combined with Meeting Room 2 for increased capacity. Seats 30 in rows, 16 boardroom and 18 cabaret.

Meeting Room 2

Our smallest space – perfect for smaller meetings, with access onto the internal courtyard. Often hired for interviews, private meetings and discussions. Seats 8 boardroom or 12 in rows.

Learning Suite

Our first floor Learning Suite is a spacious, light room with windows overlooking the foyer and access to our courtyard. Ideal for larger meetings or presentations, the Learning Suite has a hearing loop installed and video conferencing facilities. Seats 40 in rows, 20 boardroom, 16 horseshoe, and 30 cabaret.

Combine Rooms

Need more space? Combine Meeting Rooms 1 &  2 rooms for a bigger room that’s ideal for larger presentations. Seats 50 in rows, 30 cabaret or 20 boardroom.

Terrace Room

Our light and airy Terrace Room has access to our stunning roof terrace, and the option of a private bar for your guests. Perfect for meetings, presentations, or receptions. Seats 40 in rows, 20 boardroom and 32 cabaret.

Cinema Screen Hire

Screen 1

Our largest cinema space – for up to 220 people, excellent sound and image quality and a low wide stage. Perfect for film premieres, large presentations and award ceremonies. (This space can also be used for  private screenings – additional charges apply, please enquire for a quote.) Seats 217 + 3 wheelchairs.

Screen 2

Ideal for presentations, lectures and award ceremonies. For smaller scale conferences, Screen 2 can be packaged with our meeting rooms to provide break-out spaces. (This space can also be used for  private screenings – additional charges apply, please enquire for a quote.)  Seats 118 + 2 wheelchairs.

Screens 3 & 4

Our newest screens are ideal for presentations, lectures and award ceremonies and have a large flat area in front of the screen. For small scale conferences, Screen 3 or 4 can be packaged with our meeting rooms to provide break-out spaces. (This space can also be used for  private screenings – additional charges apply, please enquire for a quote.) Each screen seats 60 + 3 wheelchairs.
