All non-member tickets are subject to a £1.25 admin fee. MyPhoenix Member, Young Member and Friend tickets are exempt from this fee.

Phoenix is a registered charity. We receive less than half the value of every ticket we sell: around 45% of each ticket you buy is sent to the film’s distributor, and 20% goes to HMRC in the form of VAT. However, Phoenix can keep virtually every penny of the admin fee, which is vital in helping us meet the rising costs of administering and delivering our cultural programme and charitable activities.

Regular visitors should take a look at our MyPhoenix membership scheme which offers substantial tickets discounts, zero admin fees on member tickets, at least 10% off in our Café Bar, and a host of other benefits.

* Concessions are available for people with proof of status for unemployment, receipt of state pension and disability. One free carer ticket is available for CEA cardholders.

** Valid for all children (under 18s) and up to 2 adults in a family group.

ACCESS & DISABILITY FACILITIES

Wheelchair spaces

Wheelchair spaces are available in our cinema screens: three in Screens 1, 3 and 4 plus two in Screen 2. Please call the Box Office prior to booking if you require a wheelchair space or other accessible seating. The foyer, Box Office and screen entrances are all on a flat level on the ground floor. Lift access is available to the first floor meeting rooms.

Toilet and washing facilities

Accessible toilets are situated throughout the building and both the ladies' and gents' toilets include a slightly larger cubicle at the far end. Phoenix also has a "Changing Places" facility; this includes an accessible toilet, moveable privacy screen, height adjustable sink and bed, hoist and a baby changing unit.

Access Cinema programme

Our Access Cinema programme includes descriptive subtitled, audio described and autism friendly screenings. Find out more under ACCESS CINEMA in the ABOUT menu; or use the FILTER BY button to search for suitable screenings in the WHAT'S ON menu.

Assistance dogs are welcome

Assistance dogs are welcome in our building and auditoria. Spaces are provided for the comfort of both owners and their assistance dogs. Please contact the box office to reserve these spaces. Dog bowls with water and quiet rooms are also available if required.

Hearing loops and Audio Description headsets

We have T-loops at all payment counters in the building which work with most hearing aids, and an infra-red system in Screens 1 and 2. The infra-red system works via headsets and can offer either an amplified dialogue track for people with a hearing loss or, for films with one, an audio described track for people with a sight loss. In Screens 3 and 4 we use the Dolby Accessibility System to provide audio description and amplified sound levels at an individual level. Please ask at the Box Office if you'd like to use a headset.

Parents and babies

Baby changing facilities are available in the last cubicle of the ladies' and gents' toilets. If you require more space to accommodate a pushchair, please ask at the Box Office for the radar key to access our "Changing Places" room which also has a baby changing unit. We also have booster seats available at the screen doors.

Blue Badge Parking

Accessible parking bays are situated at the front of the building and can be used by blue badge holders for a maximum of 3 hours. These bays will continue to be available while the pay-and-display car park next to Phoenix is closed.
