All of a Sudden PG

Marie-Lou (Virginie Efira), the director of a nursing home in the suburbs of Paris, faces resistance from staff and shareholders after introducing a care method based on dignity. When she meets Mari Morisaki (Tao Okamoto), a terminally ill Japanese playwright, her life is transformed by their bond. Strengthened by one another, they turn the care facility into a symbol of resistance and humanity. Ryusuke Hamagu (Drive My Car, Evil Does Not Exist) weaves an explorative, existential narrative; All of a Sudden is a meditation on capitalism, caregiving, and the transformative potential of human connection.
