"has chic pleasures aplenty, beginning with Mirren’s hawkish, caustically funny performance" – Variety
Helen Mirren plays a vicious version of renowned author Patricia Highsmith in this dark and witty adaptation of Joanna Murray-Smith’s metaphysical thriller play Switzerland. Mirren stars opposite Alden Ehrenreich (Weapons), a mysterious man who travels to Switzerland with the aim of convincing an aging Highsmith to write one final instalment of the Ripley anthology. Fiction and reality bleed into one another in this twist-and-turn filled literary thriller.
