Phoenix is open!
Phoenix reopens at 12pm on Friday 4 November, following a short temporary closure for essential building work in our foyer.Following an 8-week closure for building work to remodel our entrance and foyer, we’re excited to be back! Doors open 12pm, Friday 4 November.
Following eight weeks of essential building work, we’re thrilled to be able to unveil our smart new foyer which will give you a flavour of what our new extension will look like when it’s unveiled in early 2023.
But before that momentous event, we’re thrilled to be able to open our doors once again and welcome you back to enjoy marvellous movies screening on newly installed state-of-the-art laser projectors in Screen 1 and 2.
Our temporary foyer bar will continue to serve snacks and drinks – including draught beers, wines, and freshly made barista coffee – for you to take into your screenings, while the work on our new Café Bar and roof terrace is completed. (Please note, food service will return when our new Café Bar opens in early 2023.)
We know the disruptions caused by the construction are less than ideal, but the end result will be a fabulous venue that offers even more for all our customers – more films, more art, more learning opportunities, more special events, a bigger Café Bar, and a terrific new roof terrace – and we are extremely grateful for your ongoing support and patience while we complete the building work. We can’t wait until it’s finished.
