The world of aviation provides an unusual setting for this beautiful coming-of-age animation.
Determined to have a fairy-tale romance, sporty Tokyo university fresher Tamaki joins the student tennis club. One day she accidentally damages the aviation club’s prized glider by hitting it with a ball; unable to pay for the repair, she is forced to join the club as a helper.
Though initially uninterested, over time Tamaki becomes fascinated by flying.
