One of the best comic book adaptations of recent years, and certainly one with a lasting cultural impact, Ryan Coogler's superb films stars the sadly departed Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa - heir to the hidden but advanced kingdom of Wakanda

As the outside world threatens their peace and prosperity, T'Challa must step forward to lead his people into a new future and must confront a challenger from his country's past in the form of mercenary Erik Killmonger (a poignant performance from Michael B. Jordan).

Screening as part of Architecture on Film, a film season in Jan and Feb inspired by the release of The Brutalist.
