Loosely based on Jane Austen's beloved novel Emma, Amy Heckerling's reimagining follows the uber-popular Cher (Alicia Silverstone) and her best friend Dionne as they play matchmakers to stay at the top of their school's hierarchy. When new girl Tai (Brittany Murphy) arrives on the scene, Cher is determined to transform her from grunge to Gucci - starting with an epic makeover.
