Sally Hodgson is a Nottingham-based freelancer who recently moved from film marketing and distribution into the costume department for film and TV.

She independently distributed feature-length documentaries and was one of the UK’s first Producers of Marketing & Distribution, a role focused on connecting films with audiences through inventive strategies. Sally has mentored filmmakers and presented on crowdfunding, independent distribution, and audience development at events including SxSW, Edinburgh Film Festival and Sheffield Doc/Fest.

Her move into costume has seen her gain credits on BFI-funded shorts, indie and studio features, and TV hits such as DI Ray, Phoenix Rise, and Hullraisers.
