Join us at Phoenix Leicester to celebrate Some-Antics' 100th poetry event!
We have an amazing feature for you, none other than Joelle Taylor!
As always we'll have open mic, a poetry slam, the world-famous Some-Antics raffle, and of course resident DJ Ninja Bob.
10 open mic slots available.
Poetry open mic etiquette:
• 3 mins per slot
• Original material only
• No hate speech
5 slam slots available
Slam Etiquette:
• Three minutes per poet
• Points deducted for going over time
• Two rounds of slam
• Perform one poem
• Original material only
• Audience judged
• Just for fun or rhyme to the death, either way bring a smile!
The slam winner takes home a custom Some-Antics notebook, £25 cash prize and a place in our Championship Slam 2025!
Tickets can be purchased online on the Phoenix website, see link, or on the night from the Phoenix box office.
For this special event we do recommend purchasing tickets beforehand to avoid disappointment.
