We are looking for a permanent full-time Sous Chef to join the Phoenix kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about cooking high quality fresh food. Phoenix is a fantastic environment in which to be creative, with opportunities to develop and cook dishes from around the world, contributing dishes for the weekly changing specials boards. You can even pick your own ingredients from the Phoenix garden in the summer, with fresh herbs growing year round. Alongside the weekly specials is our standard cafe bar menu including breakfasts, sandwiches, salads and our highly regarded burgers.
Working with the Head Chef you will assist with developing all of the menus and ensuring compliance to all food safety regulations and standards. You will be cooking and presenting fresh, high quality food for customers of Phoenix. This will include fresh food cooked to order in the busy cafe bar and larger scale buffet events for up to 150 people.
