Customer Update: Temporary Closure, Fri 9 Sep – Fri 4 Nov
We’re entering the next phase of construction work for our new extension, which will involve remodelling our current entrance. We can’t remain open while this takes place, so to enable speedy completion of the work we’ll be closed to the public for 8 weeks starting FRIDAY 9 SEPTEMBER, and we’ll reopen on FRIDAY 4 NOVEMBER.
While we’re closed, we’ll be holding some special Phoenix on Tour screening events at partner venues around the city, including the Guildhall and LCB Depot – tickets are on sale now.
We’ve also launched our own streaming platform as part of Phoenix at Home, so you can continue to enjoy a handpicked programme of films and art online, all curated by the Phoenix team.
During the closure, Box Office will not be open at the venue. However, we will be offering a telephone Box Office service from 3pm – 7pm, Monday to Friday. Voicemail messages can be left outside of these times and our Box Office team will return your call. As ever, online booking will be available via our website.
We’ll reopen at 12 noon on FRIDAY 4 NOVEMBER, with our current facilities in place. Box Office will also return to normal, opening 12pm – 9pm on weekdays, and 11am – 9pm on weekends.
We know the disruptions caused by the construction are less than ideal, but the end result will be a fabulous venue that offers even more for all our customers – more films, more art, more learning opportunities, more special events, a bigger Café Bar, and a terrific new roof terrace – and we are extremely grateful for your ongoing support and patience while we complete the building work. We can’t wait until it’s finished.
