Artist Talk: Kris Hofmann
Artist Kris Hofmann will present a talk about her practice and the development of Insects & Us.
Insects & Us is an augmented reality story about the importance of insects to planetary health and our own well-being. Four scientists talk about these extraordinary creatures, the crises they currently face, and discuss what can be done to help.
Kris has been working with animation since earning an MA in Communication Art and Design from the Royal College of Art in London in 2010. She moved to Vienna in 2018 and in now focused on the design of immersive Augmented Reality stories and experiences.
This talk is presented to coincide with the Insects & Us exhibition at Phoenix which runs from Thursday 7 – Sunday 10 July.
