Digital Break: New Perspectives on Taiwanese Moving Image

Thu 5 Oct, 7.30pm

Presented alongside Wu Chi-Yu’s exhibition Reading List, this screening brings together a varied collection of film and video by some of Taiwan’s cutting edge artists working with moving image and creative technology. The selected works collectively explore what happens when we take a step back from full-on digital exposure, shedding light on our relationship with the organic, ‘physical’ world.

All seven artists grew up in the digital era, and their works can be seen as responses to the phenomena of digital technology and it’s ever increasing presence in our lives.
