Inspired by director Lee Isaac Chung’s own upbringing, Minari follows a Korean American family as they struggle to make their ‘American Dream’ a reality in 1980s Arkansas.

We watch through the innocent eyes of seven-year-old David as his father Jacob (Steven Yeun, The Walking Dead) moves the family across the country to start a farm. Bored and mischievous, David soon finds a kindred spirit when his grandmother – sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving – arrives from Korea.

A huge hit at last year’s Sundance Festival, Minari is nominated for 6 Oscars and 6 BAFTAs, including Best Film and Best Director.
