Our Spark Festival programme for 2014 was packed with amazing interactive digital experiences

Our Spark Festival programme for 2014 was packed with amazing interactive digital experiences and activities for all ages, including handpicked films, unique free exhibitions and fascinating one-day workshops giving children the opportunity to play, learn and invent with the latest technologies.

Nearly 2,000 young people and their families joined us at Phoenix for these free digital delights…

Swiss artist and designer Camille Scherrer combined art and technology to transform Phoenix into an enchanting world, with two inventive and interactive digital artworks inspired by the mountain landscape where she grew up.

There were also loads of fun activities, from gadget play areas, interactive installation When I Grow Up by MeYou&Us, Robot Pupeteers Puppit and Digit and a range of workshops to spark the imagination.

When I Grow Up transformed our cafe video screens into a digital mirror where your reflection becomes a character of your own creation, and our play areas featured Cubelets and Spheros – little robots that you can build and programme in a matter of seconds.
