Alex May: Algorithmic Photography
Having completed a three-month run in London, the latest CAS exhibition in our Café Bar is by renowned digital artist Alex May, and features a collection of 20 algorithmic photographs produced during May’s travels in 2019.
His algorithmic photography technique uses custom-written software to convert sequences of images into digital collages, compressing minutes or hours of time into a single image.
A talk by Alex May is being scheduled towards the end of the exhibition – keep an eye on our website for details. An exhibition catalogue is also available: speak to our Box Office team if you are interested in purchasing a copy.
Curated by Sean Clark from Interact Digital Arts. More information can be found on the CAS website at computer-arts-society.com.
