Computational Constructs: Sean Clark

Extended until Mon 25 May | Café Bar, Free
Our current Café Bar exhibition is Computational Constructs, the latest work by Leicester-based computer artist and curator Sean Clark.

Leicester-based computer artist and curator Sean Clark’s latest work, Computational Constructs, explores his recurrent themes of systems, connectedness and self-organisation through the creation of rule-based interactive patterns.

Twenty prints from Computational Constructs will be displayed in our Café Bar, accompanied by computer-generated videos and an interactive multimedia version of the artwork.

In addition, a new interactive version of the artwork is now available at artthings.io/constructs/1/

Explore different forms of the artwork and listen to computer music as the patterns generate live. Press the Q and W buttons on your device to change the foreground and background of the artwork, and the number buttons to produce sound. The artist is posting updates about this developing project to his Instagram page at @seancuttlefish.
