This new exhibition in our Café Bar features work by renowned artist Jack Tait, who has been creating electro-mechanical drawing machines since 1960.
Jack Tait has been creating electro-mechanical drawing machines since 1960. In partnership with the Computer Arts Society (CAS), this exhibition in our Café Bar features artworks created throughout Tait’s long career using a wide range of machines, plus images of some of the drawing machines themselves.
Six of Jack Tait’s drawing machines have recently been donated to the Computer Arts Archive and we look forward to demonstrating them as part of future art and education events at Phoenix and elsewhere in Leicester.
