Summer Holiday Workshops

Drop in for FREE family workshops on Thursdays during August, and get creative with a host of different activities… and you’ll even get the chance to display your work in our ‘Kids Gallery.’

Suitable for ages 5+, children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Thu 7 Aug, 1pm – 4pm – Doodle Movies 

Experiment with fun, simple hand-drawn animation techniques to create an animated tile. We’ll then display all your creative tiles together in a big animated scene.

Thu 14 Aug, 1pm – 4pm – AR Town

Using marker-based augmented reality, we’ll create our very own digital town. Draw buildings, people, trees, animals and anything else you can think of to populate the scene.

Thu 21 Aug, 1pm – 4pm – Mixed-up Poems

Playing with words, we’ll create poems and jumbled up texts. Write your own poem, or cut up and re-use some we’ll provide. Then mix your poems with others to create one giant poem which we’ll display on a big screen.
