Embark on an unforgettable musical and artistic journey with First Flight 2 Africa – an electrifying event that promises to elevate your artistry and immerse you in the diverse sounds, rhythms, and cultural stories that are shaping the African electronic music landscape.

Leicester has a rich African heritage, and this special 3-day event is a celebration of the vibrant culture and artistic contributions of the local African community through a programme of artist talks, masterclasses and workshops, plus a mini exhibition exploring Afrofuturistic work and diasporic digital art.

Originally scheduled for November, the event has now been postponed and will take place in 2024. More details will be available in due course.
