NHS Test & Trace
We are required by law to collect the contact details of all Phoenix visitors for NHS Test & Trace purposes.
We are required by law to collect the contact details of all Phoenix visitors for NHS Test & Trace purposes. We are using an online system to do this. Every time you visit Phoenix you will be asked to sign in to our online Test & Trace system on arrival. (Groups should provide the name and contact details of one person from their group.)
If you have a smartphone, we will ask you to scan a QR code (or use the URL directly) to access a secure webpage where you can complete your details. Alternatively, our staff will be happy to add your information into the system for you.
In line with data protection regulations, your details will be stored for 21 days and only shared with NHS Test and Trace if required.
NHS COVID-19 APP
Launched on 24 September, the NHS COVID-19 app allows individuals to be notified if they have been in close proximity with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
The government is encouraging people to download the app, which then acts as a personal tracker that monitors where an individual goes and with whom they interact. The app continually scans for others who have also downloaded and activated the app and are in close proximity (i.e. within 2m distance of them for 15 minutes or more).
There is no requirement to enter personal information to use the app – it is an alert system to let users know if they have potentially come into contact with someone who has tested positive.
Venues have been allocated a unique QR code which must be displayed. Customers who have downloaded the NHS COVID-19 app then scan the venue NHS QR code to log their visit to the venue.
PLEASE NOTE: The NHS COVID-19 app does not replace Phoenix’s own Test & Trace system, and we ask that all customers sign in to our system each time they visit Phoenix.
