We currently have two Patrons – BAFTA-nominated film director Amit Gupta, whose appointment was announced in September 2019, and pioneering computer artist Ernest Edmonds – and you can read their biographies below.

Amit Gupta

Amit Gupta, BAFTA-nominated writer and director for film, theatre and television. Born in Leicester and currently living in London, Amit has been a lifelong supporter of Phoenix.

Ernest Edmonds at Phoenix

Ernest Edmonds

Ernest Edmonds is a pioneer computer artist. He is Professor of Computational Art at De Montfort University, Leicester UK, and Chairman of the Board of ISEA International.
