Whether you’re just starting out or have been working in the field for a while, this is an opportunity to connect with peers and hear from people working in film, TV, and digital art.

Led by Phoenix in partnership with Liminal Screens and Badshoes Film, we host regular events featuring industry talks and informal networking. These sessions offer practical insights, creative exchange, and opportunities to build meaningful connections.

We aim to grow and collaborate with both existing and future networks, fostering a diverse and vibrant community of creatives and contributing to a thriving creative landscape for the city.

This Phoenix project is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund via Leicester City Council.

Short PLATFORM

We held our first Short Platform event recently, screening short films or moving image work (up to 10 minutes) by filmmakers and artists based in the East Midlands which was selected from an open call. The next Short Platform event will be in September, so look out for details of the open call in the coming weeks.
