"★★★★★ – a semi-lucid, feverish tale of female relationships that disintegrates into a kind of woozy, oppressive madness" – The Times

In memory of the incomparable Shelley Duvall who sadly passed away last month we are screening Robert Altman’s mind-bending, psychological masterwork, 3 Women.

Pinky Rose (Spacek), a lonely, awkward teenager idolises her glamourous fellow-nurse Mille Lammoreaux (Duvall) while working at a spa in a dusty, dead-end town in California. When Mille takes Pinky under her wing as a roommate, their lives slowly ensnare and Pinky’s affections start to swirl into a strange and disturbing obsession.

Darkly funny and hauntingly surreal, Altman’s spiralling, dreamlike descent into the psyche showcases a truly extraordinary and unforgettable performance from Shelley Duvall.
